This privacy policy (“Policy”) outlines how we, Modix Pte Ltd and our affiliates (“Modix”, “we”, “our” or “us”) collect, use, process and disclose your Personal Data, which we may collect when you (“you” or “your”) access, use or otherwise interact with the website (the “Site”), in compliance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) (“PDPA”).

In this Policy, “Personal Data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data in combination with other information to which we may have access and includes the meaning otherwise as defined in the PDPA as amended from time to time.

By accessing, using or otherwise interacting with the Site or submitting information to or otherwise communicating with the Site, you agree and consent to us as well as our respective representatives and/or agents, collecting, using, processing and disclosing your Personal in accordance with this Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not supersede or replace any other consents you may have previously or separately provided to us in respect of your Personal Data, and your consent to this Policy is in addition to any other rights which any of the Companies may have at law to collect, use or disclose your Personal Data.

This Policy and your use of the Site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore

  1. How your personal data is collected and used
    1. We may collect Personal Data from you in one or more of the following ways:
      1. When you register for an account with us, directly or via a third-party login, we will collect information such as your email address, username and password;

    2. In order to provide you with the basic functions of the Site, you must authorise us to collect and use your Personal Data as may be necessary. You agree and acknowledge that if you refuse to provide us with the necessary Personal Data or otherwise when you withdrawn your consent, you will not be able to use the Site fully.
    3. Your Personal Data may be transferred, stored and/or processed in a country or territory outside Singapore, and you consent to any such transfer, storage and/or processing of your Personal Data outside Singapore. We will, however, ensure that any party to whom we transfer your Personal Data outside Singapore provides to such Personal Data a standard of protection at least comparable to the protection under the Act.
  2. Withdrawal of Consent and Access and Other Rights
    1. You have certain rights regarding your Personal Data, such as:
      1. Accessing your Personal Data and obtaining a copy of the same;
      2. Requesting the correction and/or deletion of your Personal Data we hold;
      3. Withdrawing your consent relating to your Personal Data (if the legal basis for such processing is based on your consent); and
      4. Giving feedback about the way we collect, use or disclosed Personal Data your personal data and get the copy of personal data;
    2. You may withdraw your consent to our continued use and disclosure of your Personal Data or seek access to your Personal Data (to a reasonable extent and as permitted by the PDPA) at any time by writing to the Data Protection Officer.
    3. By withdrawing your consent, you acknowledge that you may no longer use, access or otherwise interact with the Site. Please note that it may take up to 30 days for any request for consent withdrawal to be reflected in our systems.
    4. We will, at your request, within 30 days, endeavour to provide you with an account of your Personal Data in our possession or control or inform you of the deadline by which we will respond. Such account shall be in respect of how your Personal Data has been or may have been generally used or disclosed within the year before the date of your request. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for carrying out your request, where permitted under applicable laws.
  3. Accuracy and Correction
    1. We will endeavour to ensure that your Personal Data we use is sufficiently accurate and complete in making any decision that impacts you.
    2. To help us maintain the accuracy of your Personal Data, we encourage you to inform us when there are any changes to your Personal Data which you have provided us by writing to the Data Protection Officer. We will, within 30 days, correct or complete your Personal Data or inform you of the deadline by which we will respond.
  4. Protection, Policies and Procedures
    1. We take the security of your Personal Data seriously and use security measures that meet industry standards to protect the personal data you provide against unauthorized access, public disclosure, modification, damage or loss of data. We will do our best to protect your Personal Data, but please note that no security measures can be 100% safe and perfect. You acknowledge that no data transmission is completely secure and by providing your Personal Data, you are transmitting information at your own risk.
    2. If our physical, technical, or customary safeguards are breached, resulting in unauthorized access, public disclosure, tampering, or damage to information, resulting in damage to your legal rights and interests, we will act accordingly in accordance with the relevant laws.
  5. Retention of Personal Data
    1. We will retain your Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for business or legal purposes such as satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.
    2. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data , we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the Personal Data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your Personal Data, the purposes for which we process your Personal Data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements

    1.
